[Sketch] Ani-tan again!
Nothing much to say really, same club mascot with an even more mech-ish theme than last time. XD

Kaiba
This post is dedicated to one of the best shows I have ever watched - an attempt to bring awareness to a really really underrated anime that people have sidelined for the sake of more mainstream or moe ones.
I really cannot explain what Kaiba is about, suffice to say it is groundbreaking in several ways in the anime industry. It does sc-fi in a really unthinkable way. It does romance in such a way as to make the viewer experience the power of true love. Its art is nothing like ever made. Its one of those shows that you really have to experience to understand why some people like me can like it so much. (The series is only 12 episodes long btw, for the lazy/busy watchers).
Heres the beautiful OP for Kaiba:

NUS Anime Club - SingatreK'09
So the NUS anime club people were like, "Lets go on a trek around singapore". Initially the plan was to walk from Bedok to NUS on the first day, then from NUS to Sembawang on the second, and finally from Sembawang back to Bedok on the third. However, after the first day, most of us were too beat to continue and the chairperson flipped a coin to decide whether to continue or not. Thank God the coin flipped in the favor of "cancel" (though it would have been interesting to have continued the second day in spite of insanely sore legs).
Briefly, the route covered Bedok Reservoir > Katong Shopping Centre > Kampong Arang (Lunch) > Outram park MRT > Suntec City > Chinatown Square > Vivo City (Dinner) > Kent Ridge park > NUS. We left the reservoir at around 9am and reached NUS at around 9 something at night.
My weak right knee started hurting from Kampong Arang onwards, and by Chinatown Square I could feel my leg muscles hurt. Climbing up and down Kent Ridge park was the real killer - I just switched off my brain and shuffled forward every step haha. I really hated the fact that I packed a little too much and had to lug a pretty heavy backpack around the whole day.
All in all it was a very memorable day. Even though the club chairperson would think otherwise (since we only finished 1 day out of 3), I felt that we had achieved something. Walking from Bedok to NUS carrying a heavy pack. I don't think some of the sportier CCAs have even done such a physical activity before. Even though the people who turned up were some of the more physically active otakus, I still thought it was great that an otaku CCA could have accomplished such a feat. Well done everyone who went on the trip!
